About
Since 1974, Amos Pewter has hand-crafted pewter jewelry, ornaments, home décor and tableware in a former 1888 boat-building shop on Main Street.
Founded in April 1974 by Greg and Suzanne Amos and sold in 2006 to Don and Lynn Sheehan (whose three sons are now coming into the family business). Operates from a circa-1888 former boat-building shop at 589 Main Street — the first artisan shop in Nova Scotia to join the international Économusée network.

Each of us bought our favorite goods here. The design is very ingenious. Originally, I wanted to buy a small cat-shaped photo clip. But I found that dogs, monkeys, frogs and lizards of the same sequence had facial features, but cats did not. Finally, I bought a lobster claw-shaped keychain.

Ruthie y Davud (Spain) Thank you to each at Mahone Bay . We have just bought THE most elegant, beautifully crafted with care, love and expertise, the Nativity Scene . You are all so skilled and this has really been the hi-light of Mahone Bay. Thank you is an understatement. I can feel the love you put onto each crafted piece. Will always remember you...and the hug! Ruthie y David:-) España.

Quite a pleasant surprise. Not merely a store, but a shop making the pewter items, demonstrating that process, and explaining it to interested customers. Very large collection of pewter items designed, manufactured, and sold in house. Pleasant staff.
