About the Chamber
Tourism, business & community — under one roof
The Mahone Bay Tourism & Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit, member-funded organisation that does two jobs at once: we promote Mahone Bay as a place to visit, and we support the people running the businesses that make it worth visiting.

The website, the VIC, and the annual printed map — three surfaces every visitor sees, every member business listed on all of them.
How we market the town AdvocacyWe have a seat at Town Hall
A councillor sits in on every Board meeting. We've shaped the film bylaw, fixed how the Town communicates with business, and kept the VIC funded.
Our advocacy work The VICWe run the Visitor Information Centre
165 Edgewater Street — one of the last staffed VICs in Nova Scotia. Open Fri–Sun, 9 am – 5 pm; extended during festivals.

How it's paid for
Our funding
We are funded by member dues, sponsorship from community partners, and project-specific grants. Current partners include the Town of Mahone Bay, Tourism Nova Scotia, TIANS, Digital Nova Scotia, Suttles & Seawinds, Saltbox Brewing, Amos Pewter, Rayport Campground, and The Teazer.
