Founder and CEO Randy Stevens of Chester, N.S., found himself without primary care after quadruple bypass surgery: “After my surgery, I returned home without a primary care doctor as my GP of 35 years had retired. I had been accepted into my wife’s primary care practice only to be told several months later that the doctor was leaving the province and no one would be replacing her. I had joined the 130,000+ list of Nova Scotians waiting for a primary care practitioner. This is what motivated me to make a major investment in primary care,” said Stevens.
Bluenose Health is an innovative nurse practitioner-led private medical clinic providing a personalized approach to medical care in Nova Scotia.
