Located in the heart of Mahone Bay, Sea Mist Studio is a coastal shop and working jewelry studio inspired by the Atlantic shoreline. Many locals still know us as “The Pearl Shop” — a name that has long been part of our story — but Sea Mist Studio reflects the full breadth of what we create and curate.
Inside, you'll find our handcrafted pearl and leather jewelry, ocean-toned gemstones, classic pearls, Celtic designs from Ireland and Scotland, and a carefully selected collection of coastal gifts and artwork. We are also home to unique Nova Scotia pressed seaweed art, with each piece preserving a small part of our shoreline.
Everything we do is inspired by the sea — from weathered coastal textures and maritime colours to the beauty of the Atlantic itself.
Mahone Bay is known for its iconic Three Churches, charming shops, cafés, and waterfront views. We like to think Sea Mist Studio is part of that experience — a place to browse, discover something meaningful, and connect with the coast.

Recently stayed in Mahone Bay and visited this little gem of a shop twice. I love the passion that the owner (who works the shop) has for her craft but I especially love that she isn’t salesy. She is attentive and helpful and Uber talented. You won’t be able to leave with just one piece! Happy Shopping!

This store has lovely and unique jewelry. The owner is very pleasant and has created a wonderful unique store. Many gift shops in the area carry typical souvenirs & things you can buy anywhere, but this store has all original creations. The owner provided excellent service and ideas on how to wear her pieces. Highly recommended!
