I don't know where to begin, I love watching the show and being able to get a boat tour around the island was AWESOME!!! The only downside which wasn't a big deal was the weather, gloomy and light rain. Rene was our guide, and he was just amazing!!! His stories made the crappy weather just a small footnote on the day. We did get to meet Tony too, I can't recommend this tour enough. Rene's ghost stories about the "Young Teazer" was wild. Can't wait to read up on that one and some of the others. Will definitely be back to take the tour again or one of his other ones. Again, I can't say enough good things about Tony and Rene!!!

We had a fantastic experience with Tony from Salty Dog Tours! Tony is an incredible storyteller with a wealth of knowledge about Oak Island and its fascinating history. One of the highlights of the tour was seeing the remarkable artifacts he has personally recovered while diving underwater. His passion for local history and treasure hunting made every story engaging and memorable. The pontoon tour was relaxing, fun, and full of interesting insights. Tony was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly loves sharing the history and mysteries of Oak Island. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. It was the highlight of our trip!

Tony was an amazing guide!! Everything was great from start to finish. He had so much history and knowledge of the island - and was a diver on the show! - so cool to meet him and hear his stories. 100% do this if you come to Oak Island and especially if you plan to go to the Island. We saw spots we didn’t see up close on the Island. Also Don’t park in the normal resort lot — keep driving down to the marina (I’m sure this was in the email somewhere 😆)
