Derek Wentzell purchased the business in 1972, joined Pharmasave in 1987; MacQuarries Drug Ltd. acquired it in 1998. Principals today are Charles MacQuarrie (President), Matthew MacQuarrie (Marketing Director), and Travis Gunn (COO). 'Kinburn' was Mahone Bay's former town name.

I have been a customer of Kinburn Pharmasave when it was pharmacist owned. About thirty years. And even with the change to a corporate ownership, the pharmacy staff are excellent. They are as responsive as they can be, but if you're in a jam (like Lyme) they'll prioritize you prescription. Every effort is made to make sure your informed and thumbs up on the vaccinations too. Despite the tight quarters the staff seem always upbeat. The floor staff are also friendly and knowledgeable. I've needed some extra things with my husband have a knee replacement. The staff went out of their way, except that's how the roll. Thank you for your care, looking forward to many more.
